[왓처데일리]국립암센터(원장 이은숙)는 지난 6월 20일(목)부터 21일(금)까지 양일 간 서울드래곤시티 호텔에서 개최된 제45차 대함암학회 학술대회 및 제5차 국제암컨퍼런스에서 총 7개의 학술상을 동시 수상했다. 

최일주 암역학예방연구부 박사는 뉴잉글랜드저널오브메디슨(NEJM)에 실린 ‘Helicobacter pylori Therapy for the Prevention of Metachronous Gastric Cancer’ 논문으로, 전재관 암예방검진부 박사는 미국소화기학회지(Am J Gastroenterol)에 실린 ‘Risk of Interval Cancer in Fecal Immunochemical Test Screening Significantly Higher During the Summer Months: Results from the National Cancer Screening Program in Korea’ 논문으로 각각 광동암학술상을 수상했다.

최귀선 국제암대학원대학교 교수는 ‘Stages of Adoption for Fecal Occult Blood Test and Colonoscopy Tests for Colorectal Cancer Screening in Korea’ 논문으로 머크 암학회 학술상을 수상했다. 제1저자는 국제암대학원대학교 대학원생인 Nhung Cam Bui이다.

또한, 임민경 국제암대학원대학교 교수는 ‘Awareness of and Attitudes toward Human Papillomavirus Vaccination among Adults in Korea: 9-Year Changes in Nationwide Surveys’논문으로, 명승권 국제암대학원대학교 교수는 ‘Light Alcohol Drinking and Risk of Cancer: A Meta-Analysis of Cohort Studies’논문으로 각각 로슈 암학회 학술상을 수상했다. 명 교수는 수상금 전액을 국립암센터 암예방검진센터에 기부할 예정이다.

이외에도 국제암대학원대학교 대학원생인 Binh Thang Tran과 Jayson Pasaol이  Travel Awards를 각각 수상했다.
